The Howell Station neighborhood 'doesn't patronize the core of the Westside as much as you'd expect' because there's little to no access from one side of the railroad tracks to the other.

An $8M funded trail connecting the Westside Beltline Connector to PATH Parkway will materially increase cyclist and pedestrian throughput on the underutilized Westside trail, pulling new foot traffic to restaurants along the Westside BeltLine corridor that currently underperforms the Eastside.
